QUALITY PROBLEMS FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED WITH RECORD-SETTING BAND ON SEED & SPARK! 

WE HAVE OUR OWN BONA FIDE "QUALITY PROBLEM"!

Our campaign is surpassing our wildest expectations. Three days in, we are happy to announce that because of the amazingly generous support of our friends, family, and filmmaking community, we are one of the fastest campaigns to reach $25K in Seed & Spark’s history. In under 3 days we have hit 78% of our initial goal. We hit the Green Light so fast, we realized our community might support even more of this process, so we’ve upped our initial goal to $50K of our total budget.

So, what now?

Well - we go all in. To be clear, our movie is Tiny. Small. MICRO-budget. We set our initial goal of $30K not knowing what support we’d find for the project and estimating the bare minimum number that would get us through pre and bare bones production. This was in a limited capacity. This summer we scraped together $10K and shot 30% of the script over 9 days at the directors’ home. And the footage is truly remarkable. We will shoot the additional 15 days in October with your help.

WHAT DOES THE FULL JOURNEY LOOK LIKE? As we dream it, the fully realized budget of this film is $100K. That is with $30-45K in production, $40K in post production. (Post Sound includes design, editing foley, music, recording, and the final mix - that will cost $12 - 15K to do right). Then there is “POST Post production”. This is how we “get it out there”. Entry fees to festivals, publicity, digital copies, travel. It’s a massive task even when you’re cutting every corner and calling in every favor.
